Zenova is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with Firefighting Supplies Ltd ("Firefighting Supplies"), a newly incorporated company specifically to distribute Zenova products in the UK.
Founded to leverage the extensive fire safety industry experience of Gary Poole with years of experience in Calendar Fire Ltd, the Board believes Firefighting Supplies will become a key route-to-market for Zenova's fire extinguisher range, particularly within public sector and infrastructure environments.
As part of the agreement, Firefighting Supplies has placed an inaugural order for 200 units of the Zenova FX 6L all-class fire extinguisher, with an additional 2,000 units confirmed for delivery over the next few months. Deliveries will begin immediately, with extinguishers set for deployment across schools, hospitals, local authority buildings, and infrastructure projects. Initial units will also be installed at the new terminal at Leeds Bradford Airport.
This purchase order is expected to deliver revenues in excess of £125,000 over the next year for Zenova, although management expects this timeline to shorten as monthly order quantities may increase.
The Zenova FX extinguisher is designed to tackle all major fire types (A, B, F, and electrical) using Zenova's proprietary fluid. It meets both European EN3 and British Standards, offering a safe and effective alternative to traditional foam-based extinguishers, which are now being phased out under the UK Fire Safety Act 2021.
Zenova is also seeing increasing demand from established fire extinguisher distributors who are actively seeking to stock the Zenova FX range, recognising its superior performance, regulatory alignment, and suitability across all fire classes.
